SolScope respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our application handles your data. We built SolScope with a privacy-first approach: we do not collect, store, or share your personal information.
2. Data Collection & Storage
Local Data Storage
SolScope is a local-only application. All data generated by the app, including your:
- Cryptocurrency portfolio configurations
- Alert settings and history
- Watchlists and favorites
...is stored securely and exclusively on your own device (using Apple's UserDefaults and local storage systems). We do not have servers, and we do not have access to your data.
No User Accounts
We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide an email address to use SolScope.
3. Third-Party Services
To provide real-time market data (prices, market caps, and trends), SolScope connects directly to public, third-party APIs from your device. These services may see your device's IP address as part of the standard internet connection process, but we do not send them any unique user identifiers or personal data.
Our Data Providers:
- CoinCap.io: Used for top cryptocurrency lists and major crypto pricing.
- DexScreener: Used for Solana memecoin data and search results.
Please refer to the privacy policies of these providers for more information on how they handle API requests.
4. Notifications
SolScope uses local background processing to trigger notifications. These alerts are generated on your device. We do not use remote push notification servers (APNs) to send marketing messages or track your notification history.
5. Analytics & Tracking
We do not track you. SolScope contains no third-party analytics SDKs (like Google Analytics, Firebase, or Mixpanel) and no advertising networks. We do not collect crash reports or usage statistics.
6. Your Rights & Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- Access: You verify your data simply by opening the app.
- Deletion: To permanently delete all data associated with SolScope, simply delete the application from your iOS device. No further action is required.
